Welcome to The Warren Centre

Welcome to The Warren Centre’s new newsletter and website. Over the past 12 months, The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering has been undergoing a renewal process.  We have a whole New Executive Team andBoard Leadership Team.

An important part of this renewal process has been a review of how we communicate with that special group who are ‘the friends of The Warren Centre’.  I am proud to be able to introduce the new The Warren Centre website which has added functionality as well as reflecting the new ‘look and feel’ of The Warren Centre’s publicationsand other communication materials. We have also restructured our regular newsletter so that we can give you more immediate information on the issues that are concerning our professions and hope you enjoy reading it. New Executive Director for The Warren Centre

With academic qualifications including a Doctorate from the University of Oxford and Bachelor degrees in Engineering and Science, Nick Cerneaz is also a successful business leader.

Until 2011, he was the CEO of Seeing Machines, a computer vision technology company offering a suite of products built on the core competency of automated real-time tracking of human heads, facial features and eye gaze direction. Dr Cerneaz successfully transitioned the organisation from an R&D start up into a commercial business. Under Dr Cerneaz’s leadership, the company successfully listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Board and he subsequently guided the company through the 2008/2009 global financial crisis, rebuilding it as a world-class technology development company. Click here to read more.
