This final Warren Centre Energy Forum for 2018 will explore the future of batteries. The forum will discuss user requirements and commercial applications in a short, industry-focussed format. Emerging battery technologies are creating a new energy future. Improvements in the materials and greater efficiencies in existing battery technologies are driving new products and applications. Improved safety outcomes will deliver superior home batteries, car batteries, medical devices and wearable personalised health technology.
Batteries are the key to a sustainable future. Rechargable energy storage integrates easily with intermittent renewable power systems to bring about a stable, reliable and more cost efficient energy environment.
