Twitter highlights from The Warren Centre’s Meditech panel

The Warren Centre held its Meditech: 2016 to 2025 and beyond event at the Charles Perkins Centre on Tuesday 5 May. Many thanks to our panellists and everyone who came to the event for making it such a success.

The event was introduced by NSW Minister of Health Jillian Skinner. It was moderated by the ABC’s Medical Reporter, Sophie Scott, with panellists Cochlear’s Victor Rodrigues; the University of Sydney’s Prof Hala Zreiqat; the Garvan Institute’s Prof John Mattick; and Kathy Connell of J&J Innovations.

Here are some Twitter highlights that our audience and panel members shared during the event. You can use the #TWCinnovation hashtag to discuss and browse any event by The Warren Centre, and you can follow us at @thewarrencentre. You can also follow our Executive Director, Ashley Brinson, at @jashleyb and our COO, Alex Harrington at @AlexInnovation.

We will publish a detailed event write-up later this week.

The Meditech event is part of The Warren Centre’s Innovation Panels 2016 event series and was kindly sponsored by the University of Sydney. The next event in the Innovation Panels series will be Creative Code on Tuesday 7 June, looking at thee intersection and blurring of the disciplines of STEM and arts to create STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths).
